The new GorillaMail behaves a little differently depending upon whether you're using FireFox or Internet Explorer. It is quite usable with either browser, provided you are using a current version. To check your browser version, click on Help and then on About Firefox or About Internet Explorer. To obtain the latest FireFox, click here. To get the latest Internet Explorer, click here.
When you reach the log-in page, you have the option of selecting from one of three "Interface" modes: Advanced, Ajax, and Basic.
(This selection box is located right below the space where you enter your e-mail password.)
Experiment with the three modes and pick the one you like best with the browser you like best.
We Recommend:
- If you like to select multiple e-mail messages by checking boxes, use IE in advanced or basic modes or FireFox in basic mode.
- If you like to select multiple e-mail messages using the "Shift+Left Click" and "Ctrl+Left Click" methods, use IE in Ajax mode or FireFox in advanced or Ajax modes.
The new GorillaMail has a pretty well written help system. It should answer most of your questions. You'll find the link to "help" at the top of the page once you've logged in.
